Annual Menno Pioneer Power Show

General Show Information
The Menno Pioneer Power Show (MPPS) is a two-day annual event the third weekend after Labor Day weekend in Menno, South Dakota. We feature Southeast South Dakota cultural heritage demonstrations on a 36-acre site. The show is run by an estimated 300 volunteers, who are committed to creating a family friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. Extensive exhibits and activities are available at the show.
ADMISSION
$10 Adults 19 years and older
**Admission fee is per day.
Two-day passes are not available.
FREE Children 0-18 years
*Children 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Effective 2024, all children rides are free of charge.
PARKING
Onsite parking available
*Follow parking volunteer directions upon arrival. They will guide you to your designated parking spot.
*Please park as close to the vehicle next to you as possible.
*Parking is limited, so we advise you to arrive early.
*Golf cart taxi volunteers will be happy to give you a ride to your destination.

ACCOMODATIONS
Camping: Free Camping is available, however, a $20 pass for 2-day admission per adult wristband is required for all campers. Wristbands available at the Administration Building.
* Camping spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Camping is situated on the grounds south of Dunn Creek and south of the Pioneer Acres Unity Church.
* Some areas are on a hillside, blocking recommended.
* Campfires are not allowed.
* Camping in the general parking lot is prohibited.

FOOD
All the food available on the grounds is provided by non-profit organizations. By purchasing food, you will be directly supporting the Menno Pioneer Heritage Association and the community of Menno.

On the grounds, you will find a diverse range of food options at affordable prices, including soft drinks and bottled water.

Desserts:
Don't miss delicious homemade ice cream and root beer floats cranked by gas engine or a big bag of multi-flavored kettle corn for the ride home. These vendors can be found in the Town Square.
Breakfast:
On Saturday ONLY, enjoy biscuits and gravy served by the ladies of the association in the "Feed Bunk" of the Red Barn.
On Sunday, the Menno Community Club has a pancake and sausage breakfast fundraiser.
